IP Statistics in Japan --October 2017--

We regularly compile statistics about applications/prosecutions/litigations of intellectual property (IP) rights (patents, utility models, designs, and trademarks) in Japan, based on the data published by the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the Supreme Court of Japan (SCJ). This article summarizes some of the latest IP statistics as of October 2017.
