This article summarizes recent statistical data in intellectual properties, such as patents, utility models, designs and trademarks, available from the Japan Patent Office (JPO), the Supreme Court of Japan (SCJ), the Intellectual Property High Court (IPHC) and WIPO, etc. This edition includes updates based on the IPHC statistical data updated in June 2022, and the JPO Annual Report 2022 Edition published in July 2022, etc.
